How and why I came to riding in Légèreté with Philippe Karl

In 1997, I happened to see the video “Long Reining” by Philippe Karl. I was so impressed that I absolutely wanted to meet him. Three years later, I had the opportunity to do an internship with him at the Webelsgrund stud in Germany. This experience has shaped my equestrian path to this day.

Philippe Karl’s focus is on absolute respect for the horses and on ensuring their well-being. His immense knowledge and passionate experience opened the door to the art of riding for me. I am very grateful to him!!!

In my work as a riding instructor, his training path gives me the perfect concept for all horse and rider pairs – including in cross-country, jumping and high-level dressage.

With fine aids and the knowledge of how to implement them, working with horses became a great enrichment!

Thank you, Philippe Karl! It was a great chance for me to meet you!
