Quelques mots sincères de Stéphanie Durand à propos de son premier Meeting des Master Instructors afin de vous faire partager le sentiment d’une expérience humaine remarquable.
Tout d'abord, l'aspect technique de ce meeting en ligne, Covid oblige, mes yeux confinés sur un écran de 13 pouces cherchant l'expression des petits visages encadrés, ne se prêtait pas à première vue à un échange humain hors du commun…
Sans compter mon émotion… à travers cet écran je parle avec Philippe Karl et le groupe des Master Instructors, une équipe soudée et bien rodée! Je me sens comme une pièce rapportée.... (Bertrand Ravoux n'a pas pu participer et je le remplace...)
En regardant à ma droite sur le bureau je vois un tas de feuilles imprimées... L'Agenda! Tous les sujets à éclaircir, les questions à traiter, les décisions à prendre....
Je pense que c'est à ce moment là que j'ai réalisé : le petit cadre avec mon visage à côté des autres plus, les feuilles de l'Agenda.... voilà : "Tu fais partie du groupe!" (Je m'adresse la parole pour me convaincre....) "Bertrand a dû changer ses plans et Philippe Karl t'a nommée Master Instructor maintenant!"
Ok! Je réalise, le souffle un peu court par peur de ne pas être à la hauteur, de n'avoir rien d'utile à apporter....
12 heures sont planifiées pour cette conférence ! Cela me parait énorme !
Pas de contact humain non plus dans cette situation de « distanciation sociale » pour se sentir plus à l'aise....
Heureusement, vue la quantité de sujets à traiter, la réunion a démarré sur les chapeaux de roue et mon esprit s'est vite focalisé sur l'essentiel!
Le temps a volé !
Au fur et à mesure des réflexions, des échanges, si je ne voyais pas le fond des regards, j’observais dans les gestes et les propos, l’intérêt, la bienveillance, l’honnêteté, la patience que chacun manifestait envers les autres, moi compris.
La « pièce rapportée » façonnée par mon esprit se transformait, grâce à M. Karl et mes collègues, pour devenir une pièce de puzzle qui s’associait aux cinq autres pour former une image très claire : le cœur de l’ Ecole.
Hors des limites des pixels, du wifi et des murs qui nous entouraient, au delà du travail accompli, ce week end, les esprits n’étaient pas confinés, mais soudés, regardant exclusivement à l’avenir de l’Ecole de Légèreté, et dégageant cette force motrice nécessaire au mouvement en avant.
Merci Monsieur Karl de nous avoir choisies et réunies, merci à tous de m’accorder votre confiance.
Ma gratitude va également à tous les membres d’APPEL qui nous soutiennent et reconnaissent la valeur de notre Ecole, nous avons besoin de chacun de vous et de bien d’autres à venir pour que ce cœur continue de battre !

Stéphanie Durand: An intense unusual week-end

A few sincere words from Stéphanie Durand about her first Master Instructors Meeting to share her feeling of a remarkable human experience.
First of all, the technical aspect of this online meeting, Covid obliges, my eyes confined to the 13 Inch screen looking for the expression of small framed faces, did not at first sight lend itself to an amazing human exchange…
Not to mention my emotion… through this screen I speak with Philippe Karl and the group of Master Instructors, a close-knit and well-functioning team!
I feel like I’ve been patched on the group.... (Bertrand Ravoux could not participate and I am replacing him... )
Looking to my right on the desk I see a pile of printed sheets... The Agenda! All the topics to be clarified, the questions to be dealt with, the decisions to be taken....
I think that's when I realised: the little frame with my face next to the others, plus the sheets of the Agenda.... here it is! "You're part of the group!" (I'm talking to myself to convince me....)" Bertrand had to change his plans and Philippe Karl has appointed you Master Instructor now!"
OK! I realise. I'm a bit short of breath… That’s the fear of not being up to the task, of not having anything useful to bring....
12 hours have been planned for this conference! A drawn out!
No human warmth in this situation of “social distancing” to feel more comfortable....
Fortunately, given the number of subjects to be dealt with, the meeting got off to a flying start and my mind quickly focused on the essentials!
Time has flew extremely fast!
As thoughts and discussions were exchanged, I couldn't clearly see the expression in their eyes, but I observed in their gestures and heard in their words, the interest, kindness, honesty and patience that each one showed towards one another and me.
The idea of being the "the add-on patch" that my mind had created was transformed, thank to Mr. Karl and my colleagues, becoming a feeling of being a piece of the puzzle that connected with the other five to form a very clear picture: the heart of the School.
Within the limits of the pixels, the Wi-Fi and the walls that surrounded us, past the work accomplished that weekend, the spirits were not confined, but united, looking solely towards the future of the Ecole de Légèreté, and releasing the driving force needed for forward movement.
Thank you Mr Karl for not only having chosen us but brought us together, thank you to all of you for having placed your trust in me.
My gratitude goes also to all APPEL members who are supporting us and who recognize the value of our School, we need each one of you and many more to come to keep this heart beating!
